Check out the
updated “Showtimes” section to see the full
calendar of Movies & Moonbeams Outdoor
Cinema events planned for 2008, beginning
January 4th with “School of Rock”
starring Jack Black. The 2008 schedule
includes a wider variety of film selections
than ever before, as well as several unique
screening locations, from golf courses (“The
Legend of Bagger Vance” at Querbes Golf
Course, Friday, April 18) to shopping malls
(“Big” in the Kohl’s Department Store
parking lot, Friday, November 21). We’re
also proudly hosting our first classic film,
“The Wizard of Oz” (Friday, October 3) in
addition to our regular offerings of
animated and family-friendly fare. All 2008
Movies & Moonbeams Outdoor Cinema events
will be presented free of charge, courtesy
of Shreveport Public Assembly & Recreation
and The Robinson Film Center.
As the variety
of Movies & Moonbeams film programming
grows, look for fun new additions to the
pre-movie excitement. Come early for
“School of Rock” on Friday, January 4 and
join in the fun as we play “Guitar Hero 2”
on the big screen, beginning at dark. Check
this site often for updates on pre-movie
games, give-aways, and more.
